PlayKami is a gamified collectibles platform where you can purchase and open digital packs that each contain a real physical item.

Kami means “God” in Japanese, and PlayKami is built to offer an experience that combines nostalgic yet fun entertainment, with the thrill of opening "God Packs" on a 24/7 digital platform.

All you have to do is to pick and rip your pack!

Every item you see digitally is backed by and corresponds to the real physical item, which you can choose to either redeem and ship physically, list on our marketplace for others to purchase, or sell it back instantly to us.

We currently have Pokemon and One Piece TCG card packs available but will be expanding to other collectibles soon. Let us know if there are others you’d like to see!

The EV for every pack will generally be at least 100% or in many cases, even higher than the actual cost of the pack. You can check the EV for yourself before buying any packs.

There are 3 key points that users should be able to confirm - that the pool of items in the packs are real, that the odds and EV are indeed configured as we disclosed, and that the reveal was not manipulated after the purchase.

How it works is that the exact item pool and its odds are locked at point of purchase, and the randomness for the draw is determined based on the Client Seed (generated on your device-side) as well as the Server Seed (committed by us before the reveal).

The final outcome can then be verified through our open-source verifier: https://verifier.playkami.io/ (that can also be run by anyone locally!) where you can “re-play the algorithm” to verify that the exact same item will always be drawn, under the same conditions.

Yes! We can guarantee the authenticity of every item available on PlayKami, where items are either already authenticated by the various trusted grading services such as PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) and BGS (Beckett Grading Services) or are sourced from trusted suppliers and verified directly ourselves.

In the case of TCG slabs, each slab will also come with a unique certificate number that can be checked online to verify that your physical item is indeed authentic, unique, and exactly as displayed on PlayKami.

For TCG card slabs, these cards are already graded and you can verify their exact condition yourself, by looking up their unique certificate number. But generally all graded slabs offered on PlayKami are in Grade 10 or 9.

For raw cards, while we make no guarantees, we make best efforts to check and verify that all cards offered are at least Near Mint in condition. Near Mint cards are defined as cards that may have slight edge wear or a couple of minor scratches, but overall look nearly unplayed with no major defects.

Of course, that's the beauty of a collectibles platform like PlayKami where you can own your items both digitally and physically as you'd like!

All items owned can generally be shipped globally, but are subjected to the standard shipping fees required, based on your location.

We strive to ship your items as soon as possible when redeemed, however there may be delays during periods of high volume. In usual conditions, items should be shipped out within 2 weeks, with arrivals within 1 month.

In the case of payments made using cryptocurrency, rest assured that the funds in your wallet will always be safe, as monetary transactions are only made at the point of payment and are settled instantly.

PlayKami uses Privy (acquired by Stripe) for creation and management of accounts, with all wallets being entirely self-custodial in nature. This means that we will never have access to your private keys, nor will we ever touch your funds at any point outside of payment.

We currently support USDC stablecoin on the Monad blockchain for purchases.

To begin, all you have to do is deposit USDC directly into the wallet address shown. Please ensure that your USDC is sent on the Monad network. Gas fees for all transactions on Monad will be sponsored by us, so no additional $MON is needed.

Other payment methods such as credit card payments, etc. will be supported in the very near future!

We offer a buyback program where you can instantly sell back any of the items to us at 90% of the item's fair market value.

Please note that there is a 7-day time limit, from time of opening the pack, to accept this offer. A small standard service fee will also be charged on buyback transactions.

Apart from holding onto your items, choosing to redeem it physically, or selling it back to us instantly, you can also choose to list your item for sale on our marketplace.

PlayKami's marketplace provides a 24/7 trading venue where you can put your items up for sale and offers, or purchase from others if you see something on there you like!

And no fees are charged on marketplace transactions!
